John Parnell

DIRECTOR

 

John is the founding director of Collectiv Aviation, with over 25 years experience

in world-class helicopter organisations.

 

Recognised as a leading Industry senior executive, John has sold over 40 new and preowned helicopters in the last 7 years, representing Sloane Helicopters as a Leonardo distributor. John’s prior commercial experience includes a VP role in a major aviation leasing company. Prior to this, John worked with Leonardo helicopters in a variety of international and UK commercial business roles.

John was responsible for the UK and Ireland civil market for Leonardo. He led all commercial activity and introduced new helicopter fleets to leading operators in a variety of market segments, including EMS, SAR, UK MoD, and the VIP market. This operational experience has driven his passion to ensure complex modern aircraft are operated effectively and to the highest safety standards.

John started his aviation career as a UK military pilot, mainly flying Lynx helicopters and gaining broad operational and management experience.

A graduate from University of Newcastle, John has a BA (Hons) in Business Management.

Yasar Oral

DIRECTOR

 

Yasar is a B1.3 licenced engineer holding Type Ratings on the Leonardo AW109, AW169 and AW139.  With over 14 years of experience, he has developed a strong understanding and expertise of Leonardo products.

 

Throughout his wide-ranging engineering career he has gained experience of fitting complete modifications to HEMS aircraft, along with managing maintenance activities for utility and Ministry of Defence helicopters.  Moreover, Yash has established himself as a specialist with a keen eye for detail when it comes to aircraft acceptances, deliveries and pre-purchase inspections across the world.   In terms of the AW169, Yash has extensive product knowledge and experience, having worked on the majority of UK AW169 fleet, with sufficient history of carrying out deep maintenance activities including “Phase 7” updates.  In addition to maintenance activities, Yash has also been tasked with setting up a remote line and base maintenance facility for an approved Leonardo Service Centre further expanding his comprehensive engineering calibre.
 
When it comes to reputation, Yash is recognised as a Leonardo maintenance expert and is trusted by the manufacture and operators around the globe.

Anna Parnell

DIRECTOR

 

Anna is responsible for the

business management, governance and administrative side of

Collectiv Aviation.

 

With an accomplished background in high end bespoke retail, ranging from business development through to production, Anna has a strong focus on delivery and exceptional customer service. Her creative thinking, critical attention to detail and solution-based approach is instrumental in driving Collectiv’s strategy.

Anna is passionate about aviation, and is a descendant of Percy Pilcher, the pioneer aviator who was Britain’s foremost
experimenter that was very close to
achieving the world’s first powered flight.

Harry Peart

HEAD OF ENGINEERING

 

As the Head of Engineering, Harry is responsible for providing first-class engineering support services tailored to customer needs.

 

Throughout his employment history, Harry has developed a wealth of knowledge, expertise and passion for Leonardo products.  Prior to joining Collectiv Aviation, Harry has worked for two of Leonardo’s Service Centres, where he honed in on his product proficiency and skills.  During this time, Harry quickly progressed by becoming a key point of contact with responsibility for the maintenance of crucial AW109 and AW169 Air Ambulance aircraft.  Moreover, Harry has a wide-range of engineering experience, from managing base and line checks, through to providing bespoke, specialist helicopter support services to overseas customers, including those located on yachts.   With over a decade of engineering experience, Harry Peart has a B1.3 and C licence with type ratings on the Leonardo AW109 and AW169 helicopter types.

Dave White

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

 

Dave joined Collectiv in February 2024 and has since been an integral part of the team, bringing over 25 years of industry experience to the table.

 
​Dave's aviation journey spans the globe, from the rugged landscapes of the Scottish Outer Hebrides to New Zealand. Throughout his career, Dave has expertly managed HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Services) support, VIP super yacht helicopter operations, and has overseen worldwide engineering support contracts.

 

Dave's extensive experience includes deploying engineers, setting up and managing bases, as well as ensuring seamless operations in challenging environments. His in-depth knowledge of AW109 and AW169 helicopters makes him an invaluable asset to our team, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
